This image, taken in Hong Kong, depicts a phenomenon that is unique to that city: the practice of erecting a brightly colored “cocoon” around a building during construction.

The image has been rendered as an archival pigment print; according to research done by the Getty Institute, archival inket prints have a life expectancy of more than 250 years.
