Oh Snap! was on view February 15–May 12, 2013. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the project!
Follow the steps below and your work could be featured in Oh Snap! Your Take on Our Photographs, on view in the Forum Gallery beginning February 21, 2013!
Step #1 – Pick a photo that inspires you.
We welcome visitors to the museum and online visitors alike to help us create this evolving project. Either visit the project in the Forum Gallery or peruse the photographs here on the website. If one or more of the images speaks to you in a way that compels you to respond visually (either by sharing a photo that’s already been taken or taking a new photo response), proceed to Step #2!
Step #2 – Submit your photo response on this website.
This website utilizes responsive design techniques, which is just a fancy way of saying it should look good and perform well on a wide range of devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers.
So, no matter how you’re viewing the website, just navigate to the landing page for the photograph to which you’d like to respond and scroll down to the submission form. Complete the required information (designated with an asterisk) and attach a photo from your computer’s file system or mobile device’s camera roll.
Agree to the Terms and Conditions and hit “Submit.” That’s it! You’re all done!
We’ll let you know when your photo will be on view.
Carnegie Museum of Art staff will be continually reviewing, printing, hanging, and uploading visitor-submitted photos throughout the run of the project. When your photo has been hung and posted to the web, we’ll shoot an email to the address you provided at the time of submission to let you know.
